Teachers Receive Accolades

Congratulations to Ms. Jessica Reyes and Mr. De Andre Bell for being named the 2024-2025
Galena Park ISD (GPISD) Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year.

Ms. Reyes has taught bilingual fifth grade for five years at North Shore Elementary School, and Mr.
Bell has been a history teacher in GPISD for six years and recently concluded his second year at
North Shore Senior High School 10 Grade Center.

2024-2025 GPISD Elementary and Secondary Rookie Teachers of the Year.

Ms. Saldivar teaches first grade at Tice Elementary School, and Ms. Carillo teaches Math at North
Shore Senior High Ninth Grade Center.
