Galena Park ISD earned an A-Rating from the Texas
Education Agency - a distinction which is the result of
students and District personnel working together.
Rose Cunanan and Linda Ford, from North Shore Middle Rosalinda Ortiz honored for earning the
School, were honored for being selected as top middle 2022 State Board of Education (SBOE)
school ESL teachers in Texas by Summit K-12. Heroes for Children Award in District 4.
Dr. John Moore and the GPISD Board of Trustees honored Galena Park ISD and East Harris County
World War II Veterans, Archie Bourgouis and Edward Empowerment Council Partnership delivered
Murphy, at the Annual Veterans Day Celebration. Thanksgiving dinner to nearly 200 families.
