GALENA PARK ISD...

A GREAT PLACE TO BE!

As we begin each school year, our superintendent identifies a theme for our district to
set the tone for a successful year. You may recall last year’s rally cry -
We’re All In This Together. It proved to be a relevant theme as we powered through
a tough year with the help and encouragement of our students, staff, community
members and our supportive Board of Trustees. This year, Dr. Moore felt it was important
to acknowledge the many blessings we have in Galena Park ISD and the privilege of

serving our students and community.

Our 2021-2022 theme is simple, but heartfelt:
Galena Park ISD … A Great Place to Be

We wanted to find a way to include our students, parents,
staff and community in our efforts to unite under this
common theme, so we designed a yard sign which is
available free of charge to all of our GPISD families, staff
members, community members and local businesses. We
hope to see the signs proudly displayed across the district,
as we recognize and appreciate the blessing it is to be a
part of the Galena Park ISD family.
