HEALTH & SAFETY
While health and safety have always been a top priority, the profound impact of
COVID-19 has prompted a proactive, laser-focused approach to protecting the health
and safety of our students and staff. Providing students, staff and the GPISD community
with convenient access to medical care, protective equipment, vaccines and testing
sites is an impressive cross-departmental collaboration. Galena Park ISD continuously
evaluates and improves established safety measures, protocols and procedures to
ensure the most current materials and technologies are utilized in all areas of school
health and safety.
