Educators Honored for Excellence

C ongratulations to Ms. Tyneasha Turk and Ms. Camryn Goodman for being named the

2022-2023 Galena Park ISD (GPISD) Teachers of the Year.

Ms. Turk has been an educator in GPISD for four years and is currently an ELAR Teacher at
Normandy Crossing Elementary School, and Ms. Goodman has been an educator in GPISD for
seven years and is an English Teacher at North Shore Senior High School.

Congratulations, Ms. Turk and Ms. Goodman! We wish you the best of luck in the Region IV
Teacher of the Year competition.

G alena Park ISD congratulates Ms. Reyna Aguiar and Mr. James Bell III for being named

the 2022-2023 GPISD Rookie Teachers of the Year.

Ms. Aguiar is a bilingual teacher at Pyburn Elementary School, and Mr. Bell is a Positive
Approach to Student Success (PASS) Teacher at North Shore Senior High School.
