Administrators Receive Accolades

C ongratulations to Ms. Michelle Cavazos and Dr. Christopher Eckford for being named

Galena Park ISD (GPISD) 2023 Elementary and Secondary Principals of the Year!

Ms. Cavazos has served as the principal of Sam Houston Elementary School for eight years, and
Dr. Eckford has served as the principal of North Shore Middle School for 10 years.

GPISD would like to congratulate Ms. Cavazos and Dr. Eckford and thank them for their hard
work and dedication.

years, and Ms. Noris has served as the assistant principal of North Shore Ninth Grade Center for
five years.
