Educators Honored for Excellence
C ongratulations to Ms. Tonya Lloyd and Ms. LaTisha Guillory for being named the 2023-2024
Galena Park ISD (GPISD) Elementary and Secondary Teacher of the Year.
Ms. Lloyd has been an educator in GPISD for 26 years and recently concluded her final year at
Havard Elementary School, and Ms. Guillory has been a GPISD English Teacher for seven years
at North Shore Senior High School 10 Grade Center.

named the 2023-2024 GPISD Elementary and Secondary Rookie Teacher of the Year.
Ms. Myers teaches second grade at Galena Park Elementary School, and Ms. Lombera
teaches Biology at Galena Park High School.
