Mr. Shane Goforth was one of seventy-five teachers nominated for the In advance of the national championship game in Houston on
Foster Project Community Development Award from around the country January 8, 2024, a collaborative and vibrant mural was created
and was chosen as the honoree for the Northwest Division. by local artist Reginald Adams and North Shore Middle School students.
GPISD earned incentives in 2023 and 2024 through CenterPoint Energy’s The Student Nutrition Department earned the Gold Turnip the Beet Award
Score and Load Management Program for responsible electricity use for its outstanding Summer Meals Program, which included high-quality,
and a minimum 100kW reduction. appetizing, appealing, and nutritious meals.
