2018-2019
Rookie Teachers of the Year
Galena Park ISD would like to congratulate
Rachelle Martin and Christopher Carter for being
named the GPISD Rookie Teachers of the Year!
Ms. Martin is a special education teacher at
Cloverleaf Elementary, and Mr. Carter is an English
teacher at North Shore Ninth Grade Center.
2018-2019
Teachers of the Year
Congratulations to Kaneice Washington and Daniel
Ponce for being named the GPISD Teachers of the
Year.
Ms. Washington has been an educator in GPISD
for 14 years and currently serves as the science
specialist at Galena Park Elementary School.
Mr. Ponce has been an educator in GPISD for 24
years and serves as the choir director at Galena
Park High School.
