ACCOLADES
Galena Park ISD is very blessed to have many wonderful coaches across the District who dedicate their
time and efforts to ensure our student-athletes are successful on the field and in the classroom. We would
like to congratulate Ms. Vivian Dancy for being named Athletic Director of the Year; and Coaches Jon
Kay (football) , Sam Benitez (boys' basketball) and Margarita Saldana (girls' soccer) for being named
Coach of the Year for their respective sports.
