Cimarron Elementary hosted
an awards ceremony to
recognize those students who
went the extra mile to help
their school, the staff, students
and community. The Early Act
First Knight program honors
those students who have shown
leadership qualities in all aspects
of their lives. The commitment
to doing the right thing have
led these students to willingly
help anywhere they can in the
classroom and community.

Galena Park Elementary was
paid a special visit by none
other than Houston Astros
Mascot, Orbit! Orbit brought
enthusiasm to the school while
teaching the students about
bullying. The students learned
about different types of bullying
and how it can affect those
being bullied with interactive
demonstrations.
