Our Mission

The mission of the Galena Park Independent School District is to prepare
students to become productive citizens and lifelong learners, and as such, the
Board Trustees provide direction and promote student success by supporting
and celebrating this mission� In addition to 24 traditional K-12 campuses, this
district also includes an early childhood center which works in collaboration
with Early Head Start, an innovative CTE Early College High School which works
in conjunction with San Jacinto College North, and an alternative high school
for students seeking an accelerated high school path� From administrators, to
teachers, to students, there is a culture of excellence and building legacies
in Galena Park ISD, and the Board leads the way with their outstanding and
dedicated service� This spirit shows through in the Board’s commitment to
advocating for a quality public education for all students� It is an awesome
responsibility, but one they take on with passion�

Over the years, Galena Park ISD has seen growth in educational experiences
offered to students in various ways� From cutting-edge curriculum to new facilities,
every student has access to what they need for success thanks to the dedicated
school board� After all, our legacy is in the hands of the children, but the students
of Galena Park ISD are in the hands of our very capable Board of Trustees�
