Leadership Council, which is a wonderful collaboration among the
school district, community leaders, and local businesses, I have seen
how the Board is contributing immeasurably to the future of our state�”

trustees� The most important and consistent characteristics that I would say
describes GPISD, are compassionate and loving� The love and compassion
that is consistently displayed by all employees is amazing! I see children
with smiles on their faces and a feeling of belonging that I haven’t
always seen at other schools� I am honored and blessed to be associated
with such an amazing school district� I look forward to our continued
partnership and am excited about the future of our children�”

to one another� Since much of our district is in the unincorporated
area of the county, residents look to them for leadership and influence
to make sure all needs of the community are met� I’m not always
able to attend meetings in person, but I, along with others in the
community, appreciate their use of technology to broadcast their
meetings providing rare transparency unequaled by other districts� I
also appreciate the responsiveness of the district communications team that provides photos, info, or
accommodates me for interviews that complement my reporting�”
