SAFETY & SECURITY
Standard Response Protocol is the emergency management system adopted by Galena Park
ISD. This protocol, along with campus and district emergency plans, provide guidance to all
district staff in the event of an emergency. Campuses and departments conduct frequent drills
and notify parents of any emergency procedure activated on a campus.

New Safety Protocol For Senior Gold Card
As a token of appreciation to our school community, Galena
Park ISD is excited to continue to offer the Senior Gold Card
program for all GPISD residents 55 years of age or older. The
Senior Gold Card provides free access to GPISD performing
arts and regular season, home athletic events (playoff games
are not included). A valid driver’s license or ID is required for
cardholder privileges/access.
UPDATE: To ensure appropriate security at all home, varsity
football games, Senior Gold Card holders must pick up their Senior Gold Card Members
2023-2024 varsity football season admission tickets from the GPISD Athletic Complex (15025
Wallisville Rd., Houston, TX 77049) anytime Monday morning through noon the day before a
home, varsity football game. Presentation of an admission ticket and a Senior Gold Card will
be required for admission.
