New Beginnings

s summer fades and gives way to the 2024-2025 school year,
Galena Park ISD (GPISD) is excited to welcome once again
Athe return of all students, teachers, and staff. This year is
particularly special as it marks the beginning of exciting new ventures
and opportunities for GPISD, made possible by the recently approved
2024 Bond. The 2024 Bond package is comprised of two elementary
rebuilds, completion of the master plan at Galena Park High School,
renovations, and improvements to address critical areas essential
for the District’s growth and development. This bond symbolizes our
community’s unwavering commitment to education and the bright
futures of our students. With these new resources, we are poised to
elevate our educational environment, ensuring that every classroom John Moore, Ed.D.
is a place where students will thrive and become productive citizens Superintendent of Schools
and lifelong learners.
