To date, over 550 Galena Park I.S.D. employees have been honored at the Galena Park I.S.D. Education
Foundation’s Annual Dazzling Diamonds Gala, which honors the top five percent of graduating seniors from CTE Early
College High School, Galena Park High School and North Shore Senior High School and their chosen, distinguished
educators, who have made a significant impact on them.
The Education Foundation also seeks to acknowledge employees through the Beyond the Book award. This award is
presented to employees who go above and beyond their core duties to teach our students and support the delivery of
education. We believe those involved in the educational process should strive to support GPISD’s standard of ‘Excellence in
All, for All, by All’ in service to District stakeholders including students, fellow employees and community members.
The Galena Park I.S.D. Education Foundation would like to congratulate the 2019-2020 Beyond the Book Award winners, who
each received an engraved crystal book from the Foundation.
