Alumni Spotlight

As proud alumni on the Board of Trustees, Mr. Noe Esparza and Mrs. Amanda Erebia bring
valuable insights to their positions. Their strong ties to Galena Park ISD play a crucial role in their
decision-making process and deepen their commitment to fostering excellence. Both trustees
reflect the District’s core values and vision, having experienced the profound impact of a
quality education in their own lives. Their involvement on the board not only allows them to give
back but also ensures that the educational legacy they cherish continues to thrive for future
generations. Their leadership focuses on supporting the learning experience for all students,
drawing on their backgrounds and expertise to steer Galena Park ISD toward preparing students
to become productive citizens and lifelong learners.

Noe Esparza

Galena Park ISD Board Trustee Noe
Esparza (Position 6) is a proud Galena Park
High School graduate. As an alumnus, “I
have a great sense of community and
gratitude for what GPISD has given to me.
The education I got really molded me
into the person that I am today. Because
of what I learned here, because of the
lessons that teachers and administrators
taught me, I was able to become a really
productive citizen.”

Galena Park ISD Board Trustee Amanda
Erebia (Position 2) is a proud North Shore
Senior High School graduate. As an
alumna, “I’m passionate about education.
I’m passionate about Galena Park ISD. It’s
where my roots are. I think Galena Park ISD
is truly a great place to be, and I just want
to help with that process.”
