Veterans Day Celebration

Galena Park I.S.D. (GPISD) hosted
its annual Veterans Day
celebration on Wednesday,
November 11. This year, the
District honored veterans by
hosting a special drive-thru,

We would also like to
congratulate the winner of
the Veterans Day Essay Contest, Ethel
Menchavez from Normandy Crossing Elementary. Ethel wrote, “We could
not be the United States that we all love without your sacrifices that we all
benefit from. I would like to say thank you!”

GPISD would like to thank all of the veterans and family members who
stopped by for the celebration.
