Additionally, our relationship with students
is the foundation of our lasting legacy.
Therefore, GPISD students are front and
center in District planning and decision-
making. The Superintendent’s Student
Advisory Board offers students an opportunity
to share their opinions, concerns, and
perspectives with the Superintendent of
Schools. Such an influence on decision-
making fosters leadership skills and reinforces
the importance of civic engagement. This
group personifies our charge to lead, learn, 2024-2025 Superintendent’s Student Advisory Board
and serve.

Our commitment to fostering civic responsibility extends beyond our students and onto our staff,
who graciously serve each year during the annual GPISD Veterans Day Luncheon. This event
reinforces the importance of civic engagement and ensures the District’s legacy and commitment
to honor past contributions while also taking time to recognize the brave men and women who
sacrificed their lives to ensure our freedoms.

By leveraging the strengths and resources of our partnerships and community groups, GPISD has
created a robust and dynamic educational environment that promotes excellence and prepares
