School Board Recognition Month

January is School Board Recognition Month, and this year’s theme is “Leadership For
Tomorrow’s Texas.” The Galena Park ISD Board of Trustees exemplifies this theme through their
dedicated service and visionary guidance.

These volunteer leaders devote significant time to understanding the community’s needs and
making decisions that reflect our shared values. Their active involvement ensures our district
moves forward, providing the best possible education for our students.

We appreciate our school board’s unwavering commitment to excellence in education and
