n Veterans Day, North Shore Elementary invited Julio Martinez, U.S. Army, to speak to students
about his service to our country and answer questions about his time in the military. He
explained the history
Obehind the flag and why it
is important to know what the flag
stands for in our country.
“I think it is important to share
experiences with the new generation
of children because they are our
future,” Mr. Martinez said.
After talking to the students, Mr.
Martinez invited a few students
to help him demonstrate how to
properly fold the American flag.
We would like to thank Mr. Martinez
for his service to our country.
