FAB FOUR ON THE FRONT LINE

here is a buzz around San Jacinto College North Campus these days, and the students causing the
buzz are seniors enrolled at the Galena Park CTE Early College High School (ECHS). The campus,
located on San Jacinto College, is about to celebrate its historic first graduating class. A total of 122
Tstudents, enrolled in a variety of different college programs, will be the first to walk across the stage
as the Early College High School Class of 2019.

One of the many programs offered to ECHS students is
medical assisting, and four seniors are close to fulfilling their
dreams of working in the medical field. Jolie, Jessica, Wendy
and Esmeralda are often referred to as the “Fab Four” since
they will be the first group to successfully complete this
program started as freshmen in high school.

“The District and San Jacinto College have provided
everything for us to be successful Early College High School
students,” Esmeralda said. “We are so incredibly fortunate
for this opportunity.”
