Using complementary colors allows an artist to create a painting with variations
and depth. In the same way, educators with complementary skills working together
create rigorous, individualized instruction. High-quality, data-driven instruction
and academic success are at the heart of everything we do in Galena Park ISD.
Teachers, specialists, and administrators plan together, participate in professional
development, and implement lessons to meet students’ academic needs and
challenge them to reach their highest potential.

The Galena Park ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) department provides
rigorous educational experiences which extend well beyond the core curriculum.
By offering our students a broad range of experiences which lend to post-secondary

readiness, they will enter the next chapter in their lives feeling confident and ready to
excel in a competitive work environment.
