In addition to preparing students for academic success, we provide extracurricular
activities for students to explore their interests and talents. We encourage our students to
become involved in activities at an early age to provide an outlet for their talents and a
place to belong.

Research from the National Center for Education Statistics [Volume 17] found
that students who participate in extracurricular activities have a greater sense of
engagement with their school and therefore, less likely to fail or drop out.

By providing many opportunities for students to participate in athletics, fine arts, military
readiness, and STEM programs, students are exposed to different career paths available

after graduation.
