Just as an artist uses a variety of tools to create a classic work of art, a student needs
enrichment beyond academics to live a full life.
To accomplish this, Galena Park ISD supports the whole child by addressing their
psychological and social needs. Social and emotional support in GPISD includes a
professional team who provide students, parents, and campuses with resources that
foster a safe social, emotional, and academic environment for students and staff. The
overall goal is to create an integrated system of school support that strengthens student
learning and overall well-being.
