This Together

Community and business partnerships are critical to the

district’s success.

Partnerships with community groups such as the East
Harris County Empowerment Council, Veritex Community
Bank, Harris County Precinct 3 Community Outreach
division and Joseph House Outreach Center have
helped the District to provide assistance for GPISD
families.

GPISD is proud to be a 1 to 1 district, which means
all of our students have been issued their own district

Chromebook to use as an instructional support tool for
in-person and remote learning. GPISD’s partnership with
Harris County Precinct 2 has provided GPISD with 5,000
chromebooks, 3,300 laptop computers,
5,300 hotspots and Comcast in-
home internet to families who did
not previously have access in their
homes. This partnership has been
vital to support our schools, families

and community with the tools to be
successful with online learning.
