Register Now: STEM & Fine Arts Academies
We are excited to announce the 2024-2025 school year will be the inaugural year of GPISD’s
Fine Arts Academies, located at Cimarron Elementary and Pyburn Elementary Schools. These
Academies will include opportunities for extended learning in visual arts, music, theater, and
dance. The 2024-2025 school year will also be the second year of GPISD’s Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math Academies (STEM), located at Havard Elementary and Galena Park
Elementary Schools. These Academies offer opportunities for additional exploration in science,
technology, engineering, and math.
The STEM and Fine Arts Academies are open to children who will be in kindergarten through fifth
grade during the 2024-2025 school year. You do not have to live in GPISD to
register for admission. Please note students must have good attendance
and behavior and their own transportation to be considered for the
Academies. If a large number of students register, a lottery system
may be implemented. If interested, please scan the QR code or click
