Engaging Students In New Directions

On November 1 , GPISD families met up for Elective Palooza.

The interactive fair gave elective teachers an opportunity to
market their courses to prospective students, and it featured
hands-on demonstrations from various GPISD programs.
Elective Palooza sparked career interests in students as they
were introduced to a wide range of elective courses that
catered to their future pursuits and passions. Whether it’s
theater arts, athletics, welding, education, the medical field,
or agriculture, there is something for every student. Teachers

at Elective Palooza showcased their courses in creative and
engaging ways, making it easy for students to understand the course content and requirements.
Elective Palooza is an important event that not only helps students choose their elective courses,
but also helps them develop a sense of belonging and community within their school. It allows
students to interact with their potential teachers and classmates, which fosters a supportive and
inclusive learning environment.
