Cooking Up Success In Life

Galena Park ISD is highlighting the accomplishments of
our former students in a video series, Alumni Spotlight,
which is released twice a year and delves into life after
graduation from CTE Early College, Galena Park, or
North Shore High School.

Our current spotlight on Chef Abe Sanchez, North
Shore High School graduate, shares his story which
includes struggles with ADHD and Dyslexia. His
extraordinary work ethic paired with his creative outlet
for food has resulted in a successful career as an
executive and top chef.

Chef Abe has worked as a Sous Chef, Executive Chef,
General Manager, and Regional Executive Chef in
his decade of experience. His contributions included
creating and re-imagining menus, creating great
culinary experiences, and ensuring food quality.

Galena Park ISD is proud to highlight Chef Abe and his
many accomplishments as a Galena Park High School
Chef Abe Sanchez graduate, trail-blazer, and nationally renowned chef!
