RISING ABOVE

January is School Board Recognition Month and this year’s theme is “Rising Above.” The
leadership of our Board of Trustees has helped Galena Park ISD rise above the challenges to
continue the work of providing students in our community the best possible education.

Our school board members are volunteers who give a significant amount of time to serve in this
capacity. They play an active role in our district and keep a pulse on the community to ensure
decisions made during school board meetings reflect the values and priorities of all stakeholders.

Thank you, Board of Trustees, for your service to the children of Galena Park ISD!
