The Places You Will Go...

The GPISD Geography and Social Studies Bees are exciting and thought-provoking competitions
held annually. Elementary and middle school students participated in the Geography Bee, and
high school students participated in the Social Studies Bee. During the competitions, students
were asked a variety of geography and social studies questions and earned points for correct
answers. They competed against their peers from schools throughout the district while being
cheered on by their families, teachers, and administrators. The highest scoring high school Social
Studies Bee winner will go on to compete in the Texas Citizen Bee. Good luck to Galena Park
