Keeping Our Students Warm

Woodland Acres Elementary School was
chosen by Operation Warm to receive
winter coats for every student! FedEx Cares
sponsored the event, and over 400 Woodland
Acres Elementary School Wildcats received a
brand-new coat and a bag of gifts. Operation
Warm is a national nonprofit that provides
warmth, confidence, and hope through basic
need programs that connect underserved
communities to resources needed to thrive.
Volunteers assisted each student to ensure the
student’s desired selection fit appropriately and
provided them with warmth. Sherivale Cheng
Bish, Director of FedEx Cares, shared, “It was FedEx Employee Assist Student with New Coat
our utmost pleasure to provide the winter coats
and toys for your school. What a blessed moment indeed, and all of the never-ending smiles that
will last a lifetime! FedEx really cares for the community.”
