business and industry partnerships include Fortune 500

companies such as LyondellBasell and Dow Chemical,
who offer internships and opportunities for student to
further their post-secondary education upon high school
graduation.

Another leadership development opportunity GPISD offers
students, who wish to enter the military after high school, is
the LOTC and JROTC programs. All of our middle schools

offer LOTC programs, and Galena Park High School and
North Shore Senior High School have JROTC programs.
