Facilities Improvement
On May 4, 2024, the Galena Park Independent School District,
under the Board’s direction, achieved a significant milestone in
its commitment to education through the successful approval
of a $530,010,000 school bond package� This decision,
supported by a resounding vote from the community, marks a
transformative moment for Galena Park ISD, aiming to address
the critical needs of its schools and students� The bond package is a testament to the
community’s dedication to enhancing educational opportunities and ensuring all students
have access to the resources they need to succeed�

The bond funds are allocated to various essential projects, including the construction of new
facilities, renovation of existing structures, and upgrades to technology and educational
