STEM Academy
The STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)
Academies at Havard Elementary and Galena Park
Elementary enhance students’ educational experiences
by providing a unique curriculum that includes hands-on
learning and focused instruction to develop strong STEM
knowledge and skills� The unique curriculum executed within
the walls of every classroom ranges from reading and writing
about the life cycle of a frog in the reading language arts
classroom to researching STEM careers during their library
rotation�
